Selectronic, who have been supplying LEDs for over 20 years, are pleased to announce a move into Large Panel LED Signs.

The picture shown is a sign totalling a surface area of over 47 square meters with a density of 3906dots per square meter. This particular display is mounted 7m off the ground giving it a huge visual impact.

With the power supply equipment being mounted inside the tower and display control by a central control desk 200 meters away connected by fibre optic cables, the project was a complete solution and took a total of 20 days to install.

Working in conjunction with partner suppliers in China, the signs will be manufactured to individual customer requirements. The aim is to target retail sites who may not have considered advertising in this format before, and to demonstrate what can now be achieved using larger panel dot matix panels as part of their signage and customer information package.

Selectronic will also be looking at in store Digital Signage solutions, both LED and TFT technology as part of the overall move to supply end users directly with custom sign packages that includes both the optotechnolgy and drive electronics as a total solution.
